During the interview, Sprouse was joined by his father, Matthew Sprouse, who shared insights into balancing the demands of the industry with the need for a normal childhood. He explained, 'desperately wanted us to be normal kids, and my mother wanted us to be a bit more of a caricature of two normal kids.
Sprouse also highlighted the mental hurdles he faced as a child star, noting, 'We're beating around the bush, it's child labor.' He further elaborated on his own struggles, saying, 'I have to sing and dance,' although he clarified, 'I can sing, although I don't like to do it unless it's kind of funny.
For Dylan Sprouse, the experience of being a child actor may have not been as glamorous as it appeared, and he is now focused on understanding how his father managed to transition into a successful adult career in Hollywood, most notably through his role in the Emmy-winning comedy Hacks.
