The site, gopdallas2026.com, was previously documented to include a background photo of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, the site of the upcoming midterm convention.
In response to circulating reports, the party wrote 'FAKE NEWS!' on social media. The RNC spokesperson, Zach Kraft, stated in an interview that the RNC is focusing on opening the convention to the American people, as all of President Trump's work has been about improving their lives.
The unusual website stunt comes as Republicans prepare for a two-day gathering expected to feature 109 speakers and programming items, according to the RNC. Zach Parkinson, a spokesman for the RNC, commented to the Chron that 'Democrats are too broke to have their own midterm convention, so they settled for a sad, fake little website.
GoDaddy, which provides domain name registration, shows the fake website was registered on July 7, but the owner's name is private. At some point after that date, the site began redirecting to the Epstein files, according to reports from NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth and Al Jazeera.
