CJP spokesperson Saurav Das announced that he and other party members would join a protest at the Delhi police station at 10 am to seek justice for Sanjay, who was allegedly attacked by BJP-protected goon Swatantra Bhardwaj during a Jantar Mantar protest.

The police have detained two men, Suraj Kumar and Swatantra Bhardwaj, and have initiated legal action against them, with a chargesheet to be filed soon, according to police statements.

CJP co-convener Ashutosh Ranka urged people to join the protest, while Nishu, Kumar's daughter, also expressed her intention to accompany her father to the police station.

Delhi Police has rejected claims of political interference and denied that Kumar suffered a fractured or 'cracked' skull, stating that the injury was simple and the claim was 'misinformation' and 'completely baseless'.
