In Short: NASA is inviting the scientific community to update the list of LISA 'science gaps' for the upcoming ROSES 2026 solicitation, focusing on the needs of the NASA Science Ground Segment.
NASA is inviting the scientific community to update the list of LISA 'science gaps' for the upcoming ROSES 2026 solicitation, focusing on the needs of the NASA Science Ground Segment (NSGS). This process is part of the LISA Preparatory Science (LPS) program, which supports U.S. research through NASA ROSES every two years.
The NASA LISA Project Office, in collaboration with the NASA PhysCOS program, maintains a list of these 'science gaps'—areas of investigation that require further work to fully realize LISA’s scientific potential.
Community members are encouraged to review the last iteration of the LISA Science Gaps document, available as a PDF, and provide input through a Google form.

- Every two years, NASA solicits proposals for the LISA Preparatory Science (LPS) program through NASA ROSES to support U.S.
