IIT Delhi Launches First Academic Programme at Sonipat Campus

In Short: IIT Delhi has launched its first academic programme at the Sonipat campus, focusing on international solar education and management.

Prof Ramesh Narayanan, Head of the Department of Energy Systems and Engineering (DESE) at IIT Delhi, announced the initiative, positioning the institute at the global forefront of energy education and management.

The programme aims to train participants from ISA's 120-plus member countries, who will then serve as trainers at Solar Technology and Application Resource Centres (STAR-C) in their respective countries.
