Fox News Media has announced it has parted ways with Maria Bartiromo, the anchor of its Mornings with Maria show, effective today, after more than a decade. The decision comes hours after the final episode of her show aired on Fox Business Network.
Bartiromo, a vocal defender of former President Donald Trump, has frequently earned praise from him, who has granted her multiple interviews over the years. Fox Business Network stated, 'We thank Maria for her work over the last 12½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.
Bartiromo's departure is not tied to a move to a rival network or any White House role, according to sources. Her last appearance on FBN's air was on August 9, 2026, and she has been Fox Business Network's global markets editor since 2014.
In 2021, Bartiromo's comments and shows were cited as exhibits in a defamation lawsuit filed by the voting machine maker Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News. She had previously hosted CNBC's 'Closing Bell' and was the first person to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
