AI chatbots are facing significant disruptions as ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok are all experiencing issues for many users, according to reports from MacRumors and The Verge. OpenAI's status page acknowledges elevated errors across ChatGPT and Codex, while Grok's website notes ongoing technical difficulties. Similarly, Anthropic's Claude chatbot and related services are down, with a reported infrastructure issue causing the partial outage.

The outages began around Thursday and affected various functionalities, including conversations, logins, file uploads, voice mode, and image generation for ChatGPT. Users encountered error messages when trying to access the chatbot, highlighting the widespread impact of these technical issues.

While the services are currently down, there is some good news as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude are reportedly back online as of 11AM ET on the same day. Technical staff member CJ Avilla attributed the outage to an infrastructure issue affecting Claude’s services.

Meanwhile, Apple has introduced new iPhones with significant model differences, but this news is unrelated to the current AI chatbot outages. Users are advised to monitor the status pages of these services for updates on the issues.
