In Short: Cockroach Janta Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka clarifies the party's political ambitions, focusing on changing how politics is run in India, amid discussions about its leaders' intentions.

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka stated that the party's political ambitions are centered on transforming the way politics is conducted in India, according to an interview with The Indian Express’s Srirupa Goswami.

Ranka addressed comments made by Ladakhi activist Sonam Wangchuk, who suggested that CJP leaders have political ambitions, emphasizing the dire state of Indian politics.

He highlighted the critical situation, particularly noting that despite discussions about the demographic dividend, the reality on the ground is far from ideal, especially in rural areas where government schools play a crucial role in education and mobility.

Ranka explained that the school audits conducted by CJP are not just about identifying infrastructure issues but also about addressing the broader challenges faced by rural populations. He emphasized that education will remain a priority, but the party also plans to focus on unemployment and institutional accountability.
