In a statement Monday evening , Jeremy Moss said he’s been “in continual dialogue” with Abdul El-Sayed , including about “American Jewish and Arab safety and security, both here at home in Michigan and in the Middle East.

“I will not be lectured by a California podcaster about what Oakland County, Michigan’s American Jewish community should and shouldn’t believe,” he said. And I stand against any rhetoric that puts the community at risk,” Abdul El-Sayed said in a statement.
