Grealish Returns to Everton on Loan, Ending Man City Tenure

Manchester City triggered a release clause in Grealish’s Aston Villa contract in 2021 to make him the club’s first nine-figure signing only surpassed since by Elliot Anderson. Grealish suffered from injuries and a loss of form in the subsequent two seasons, coinciding with the rise of electric Belgium international Jérémy Doku.
