Balogun Walks Away from Everton Move

Confirmed

Sports Desk

In Short: Folarin Balogun's transfer to Everton collapsed as he decided against the move, while the club signed Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City.

Reports indicate that Folarin Balogun's transfer to Everton has collapsed after the player decided against proceeding with the move. The club had identified an issue with Balogun following his medical at Finch Farm.

On the same transfer deadline day, Everton made a different acquisition, signing Jack Grealish on a season-long loan from Manchester City. Grealish, who previously played for Everton, scored twice and provided six assists in 20 appearances, winning the Premier League Player of the Month for August.

The collapse of Balogun's move comes after similar situations with other players, such as Ricardo Pepi and Eli Campbell, who also saw their transfers not go through.

Meanwhile, Everton has made other moves, including the departure of Nathan Patterson to Torino and the loan departure of Eli Campbell to MK Dons in League One, while Michael Keane remains at the club.
