Trump calls Hollywood a 'total disaster,' pushes federal tax incentive for film after meeting with Jon Voight

Jon Voight and Steven Paul met with "dozens of leading film and television organizations (guilds, unions, studios and streamers) about what changes need to be made to increase domestic film production ," according to a statement.
Shortly before Inauguration Day for his second term in office, Trump revealed the Special Hollywood Special Ambassadors program in efforts to promote business in Hollywood. As well as the MPA , failed L.A. mayoral candidate Pratt, Enemy of the State star Jon Voight and Democrat Schiff, SAG-AFTRA, the DGA, the WGA, studio execs and various industry lobby groups have all said they are in favor of the feds stepping in with a national program.
“For over a century, American studios, casts, and crews have produced the films and series that the world wants to see,” the studio and streamer lobbyist boss said. “Meetings are being set up with the Leaders of both Parties in order to get this done,” the MAGA chief said in his Truth Social post.
