With Cohen also announcing that the Howard Stern channel would now be christened “Andy 100,” a number of media outlets quickly published stories declaring that the 71-year-old Stern had departed from the network. According to an update to the channel lineup shared on the SiriusXM blog, Howard 101 is no more.

Stern signed a new deal with SiriusXM last December after rumors swirled that he would be departing the network. Instead, Bravo star Cohen surprisingly showed up to host – and deliver some somber news to Stern’s fans.

The move comes just weeks after Page Six reported that Stern laid off about a dozen staffers from his radio show. His show eventually launched on Sirius channels, Howard 100 and Howard 101, in 2006.
