NASA is ready to explore the cosmos in a whole new way, thanks to its next-generation Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. Now, NASA aims to launch the telescope as early as August 30 , with plans to start delivering a flood of cutting-edge astronomical data early next year.
The most successful way that scientists have found and studied these faraway worlds has been to watch a star’s light very closely, looking for periodic dips in its shine caused by a planet passing in front of it and partially obscuring our view.
