New Hampshire man allegedly steals rescue truck from firefighters battling his burning home

A New Hampshire man whose home was going up in flames allegedly stole a rescue truck from responding firefighters, then crashed into a fire engine, drove over active hoses and narrowly missed three firefighters before fleeing the scene, authorities said.
NY POLICE CAR CATCHES FIRE, TROOPERS INJURED IN 3-CAR COLLISION Fire officials said the Dalton home was a "complete loss," while the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze. (Dalton Fire & Rescue) The department said Roman allegedly drove around Whitefield's E3 fire engine, nearly striking two firefighters and narrowly missing a third who could have been pinned between the two large trucks.
