Nepal floods latest: Desperate search resumes amid fears of second flash flood from burst lake

Authorities in Nepal have issued an alert warning that a dam on the Tibetan side has burst again.
China this afternoon raised the death toll from a devastating mudslide that had struck the border between Tibet and Nepal earlier this week to five from three, Chinese state media reported. South Korea, which now has a response team stationed in Kathmandu, said it was “negotiating” with Nepali authorities to allow them aid the rescue operation after Nepal rejected foreign help.
The teams have rescued 350 workers and locals from the premises of the Trishuli-1 hydropower project, the Nepal prime minister's office said. South Korea said it has already sent a response team to Nepal and will also dispatch a disaster relief team.
