What we know
Russia mounted a large overnight missile and drone attack on Ukraine into Saturday morning, with Kyiv and Odesa oblasts among the main targets, a day after the deadly Kryvyi Rih shopping-centre strike.
Ukraine’s Air Force said air defenses destroyed or jammed most of the swarm. Local officials reported at least two people killed overnight in separate strikes.

- Associated Press and regional officials reported at least two overnight deaths, including in Zaporizhzhia, as Kryvyi Rih’s mall death toll held at 16 with more than 130 wounded.
