NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Sophie Adenot concluded their spacewalk outside the International Space Station at 3:29 p.m. EDT, completing tasks including replacing a retroflector and installing jumper cables. Their mission also included preparing the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer for future maintenance.
Meanwhile, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope team successfully activated the Coronagraph Instrument, designed to block starlight and observe planets and dusty disks around nearby stars. The instrument will undergo calibrations and tests before full operations begin.
