A 14-year-old student in Thailand killed his grandparents before opening fire at his school, where he shot five people dead and took his own life, police said, according to The Guardian.
The shooting occurred at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Nonthaburi province northwest of Bangkok, where more than 30 were wounded, police said.
The teenager also killed his two grandparents at their family home earlier in the morning, authorities said. His uncle and sisters of the grandfather who were at the home said he usually kept to himself and was a good student.
Witnesses at the scene said the speeding truck lost control, overturned and struck several pedestrians, causing extensive damage, according to AP News.
The incident has shaken Thailand, a country struggling to deal with gun violence.
