Russian airstrikes across Ukraine have killed at least six people, including three civilians in Kharkiv Oblast, according to local authorities. In Balakliya, eastern Kharkiv region, Russian strikes on homes killed three people, with the victims being two women and a man, according to Vitalii Karabanov, head of the military administration in the city. A drone attack on a van in the southern Kherson region wounded six people. The strikes also damaged a foreign-flagged ship loaded with wheat, killing a crew member and causing a fire in Odesa.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the military had hit two oil refineries in Russia, the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Bashkortostan and the Slavnet-Yanos refinery in Yaroslavl. Meanwhile, Russia's Ministry of Defence claimed to have shot down 605 Ukrainian drones over its territory and the annexed Crimean Peninsula.
