Moscow region Gov. Andrei Vorobyov said a Ukrainian drone attack Tuesday killed five people and wounded about 10 around the Chekhov district’s Novoselki industrial zone. Russia’s defense ministry claimed hundreds of drones downed overnight, including over Moscow and Leningrad regions.

Ukrainian regional officials said Russian glide bombs and drones killed civilians including children in Sumy and elsewhere, with additional deaths and injuries in Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kramatorsk. Separately, Russian officials raised the toll from a Monday Black Sea resort drone blast to seven dead, including children—each side accusing the other of targeting civilians.
