What we know

Even as airstrikes paused, U.S. Central Command said Sunday its naval blockade of Iran “remains in full effect,” stating that as of Saturday it had redirected 12 commercial vessels, disabled two that failed to comply, and boarded two for compliance checks, Al Jazeera reported.

Iranian media said the IRGC stopped six vessels attempting unapproved strait transit with warning shots and reported a tanker exploding after hitting a mine off the Iranian-approved route—underscoring that the shipping fight continued without nightly bombing.
