What we know
Two Iraqi border crossings were attacked during the latest U.S.–Iran hostilities, according to officials and social-media video verified by the New York Times: Iranian and Iraqi outlets reported U.S. airstrikes hit a police rest station at the Shalamcheh crossing, and the Abdali crossing between Kuwait and Iraq was also hit.
ISW noted Shalamcheh as a major Khuzestan–Basra transit point previously struck in April; Iranian media said two people including an Artesh captain were killed there.
