KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait's military reported on Tuesday that one of its navy vessels was targeted in what it described as Iranian attacks, injuring four armed forces personnel, according to Arabnews.
The Kuwaiti military also announced that it had intercepted one ballistic missile, five cruise missiles, and 33 drones during the attacks, which targeted several vital and civilian facilities, causing material damage and debris to fall.
Earlier in the day, air raid sirens were heard in Bahrain, with the interior ministry reporting that the country had intercepted several Iranian attacks, similar to Kuwait's experience.
In response to the attacks, the General Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces stated that any explosions were the result of their air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks, as reported by Arabnews.
These attacks come in the wake of repeated Iranian strikes on Kuwait and other US-allied Gulf countries in recent days, in reaction to US military actions.
