KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said three land border posts in the north of the country came under what it described as a 'treacherous and aggressive attack' on Sunday, causing material damage.
In a statement, the ministry also reported that a hostile drone targeted one of Kuwait Oil Company's offshore drilling rigs in Kuwaiti territorial waters, resulting in material damage and injuring one worker.
The injured worker is receiving the necessary medical treatment, according to the ministry. The General Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces reaffirmed the military's full readiness and commitment to safeguarding the country's security and protecting its territory.
