The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has launched a second round of airstrikes on targets throughout Iran, following the initial strikes that used 49 Tomahawk missiles.
The strikes, which began at 3:45 am IST, hit various locations including western Tehran, Fars province, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Kish, Minab, and parts of central Isfahan.
In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have launched a two-wave operational strike on US forces in the region, targeting 18 key installations at bases hosting American troops.
