Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reported that a 37-year-old man armed with a rifle carried out a shooting spree in Mersin, a city in southern Turkey, on Monday, resulting in at least six deaths and eight injuries. The suspect allegedly killed his wife on a street before firing at a restaurant, where he killed the owner and an employee. A widespread manhunt is underway for the suspect, identified as Metin O.
