Northwest Kiwanis Soccer Program to Join Upper Arlington Parks & Rec

The Northwest Kiwanis Youth Soccer Program, which has run recreational soccer leagues for children in grades 1-4, is set to transition to Upper Arlington Parks & Rec, according to Katie Renner, the organization's President. Renner expressed pride in the program's accomplishments and its impact on the community.
Mike Toomey, a Past President of Northwest Kiwanis, echoed this sentiment, stating that the program has had an 'incredible run.' The City of Upper Arlington was quick to take over, with Darcy Baxter, the Recreation Sports Supervisor, noting that they were 'very pleased' to continue the program.
Debbie McLaughlin, the City's Parks & Recreation Director, emphasized the city's commitment to maintaining the Kiwanis legacy, stating that they are 'very pleased at the opportunity to continue the Kiwanis legacy of youth soccer for children in Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff.

- “We’ve had an incredible run offering our recreational soccer league for girls and boys in grades 1-4,” said Katie Renner, President of Northwest Kiwanis.
