Jackson Blake scored 5:28 into overtime for his second goal of the night, and the Carolina Hurricanes finished a four-game sweep of the Philadelphia Flyers with a 3-2 win Saturday to reach the Eastern Conference finals for the second straight season, AP, ESPN, CBS and NHL.com reported.

Logan Stankoven also scored in regulation. The win made Carolina the first team since the 1985 Edmonton Oilers era to open a Stanley Cup playoff run 8-0 across the modern four-round format's first two rounds undefeated, ESPN noted.
