Logan Stankoven scored twice and Frederik Andersen made 19 saves as the Carolina Hurricanes blanked the Philadelphia Flyers 3-0 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Second Round on Saturday night in Raleigh, AP, NHL.com, Reuters, ESPN and CBS reported. Jackson Blake also scored; Carolina leads the series 1-0 and improved to 5-0 in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs without trailing.
Stankoven extended his playoff goal streak to five games. Mike Reilly had two assists in his Hurricanes playoff debut filling in for injured defenseman Alexander Nikishin. Dan Vladar stopped 20 shots for Philadelphia; Owen Tippett sat out with an undisclosed injury. Game 2 is Monday night in Raleigh.
