Mountaga Tall, a well-known Malian lawyer and politician critical of the ruling junta, was abducted overnight in Bamako, according to family members who spoke to AFP.
Tall's wife attempted to document the incident but was manhandled by the masked men who took her phone, another family member reported.
On Friday, the prosecutor's office stated it had 'solid evidence' of 'complicity' among certain military personnel, accusing them of involvement in the attacks.
