What we know

Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon killed at least 10 people Friday, including six in Habboush near Nabatiyeh after an Israeli evacuation warning, while Hezbollah said it fired rockets and drones at northern Israel, AP, NBC and Al Jazeera reported. Two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded in a Hezbollah drone impact near the border, Israeli media said; the Israeli military confirmed an explosive drone fell in northern Israel.

Lebanon's Health Ministry put the war death toll at 2,618 killed and 8,094 wounded since March 2. Fighting has continued despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire that took effect April 17 and was later extended. Al Jazeera cited at least 12 killed Friday including a child, with additional deaths near Tyre and Nabatieh; IFRC officials separately condemned strikes that have killed Red Cross volunteers.
